The Difference Between Powder Coating and Baking Paint for Hardware Display Racks

Powder coating: Also known as electrostatic powder coating, this process involves the electrostatic application of specialised powder coating materials onto metal display stands. Utilising a dedicated electrostatic spray gun, the coating material is fed into the gun via an air compressor. Through the principle of electrostatic corona discharge, the material acquires a negative charge near the electrode, generating electrostatic force and dipole force. Propelled by the air compressor, minute particles of the display stand coating material are ejected from the spray gun. These particles travel along electric field lines towards the positively charged brand display stand workpiece, aligning according to the density distribution of electric field lines on the workpiece surface. This ensures the coating adheres firmly to the workpiece surface.

Electrostatic spraying: This process employs a specialised electrostatic spray gun. Utilising the airflow from the air compressor, a pressure differential is created within the tube connected to the paint container. This draws the paint liquid from the container, where it is carried by the air compressor's airflow to the nozzle. There, it is atomised into a fine mist and evenly sprayed onto the surface of the workpiece being processed by the custom manufacturer.
